Volunteer Kilimanjaro has carefully calculated program fees to reflect two commitments: providing local employees with fair wages, and offering participants a high quality, low-cost volunteer tourism experience. You will notice that our fees are significantly lower than other large volunteer tourism companies; we are able to keep our fees low because we base our operations locally. Please note that costs are approximate, and vary based on the number of volunteers traveling together and the length of time the group wishes to volunteer. This fee includes:
- Ground Transportation
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Bottled Water
- Accommodation at Cabins
- Services of Local Guide
- Cultural and Educational Opportunities
- Individualized Volunteer Placement
- Full-time In-Country and US-Based Staff Support
Volunteer Kilimanjaro also offers participants reduced rates on safaris and treks on Kilimanjaro with another local tourism organization. If groups or individuals are interested in these opportunities, staff will arrange a safari or trek at the beginning or end of volunteer placements.
